Meet Penelope

Penelope Jane is a Texas-based visual artist and homeschool educator. Under her art brand, Penelope Jane Paints, she creates impressionistic acrylic paintings that capture the grounded beauty of the natural world. Her work frequently explores themes of native birds, vibrant florals, and the soft light of sunrises, blending expressive brushwork with a deep appreciation for nature.

Dedicated to both her creative practice and her community, Penelope has been an artist at the McKinney Art Gallery since October 2024. Alongside her gallery presence, she balances her time managing digital media for her family's businesses and homeschooling her children, bringing a unique blend of creativity, dedication, and structure to both her studio and her home.

Through her art, Penelope seeks to bring a soulful, storied touch into everyday spaces, offering viewers an intimate connection to the natural world.
